Led by University of Zagreb (UZG), this course ran from March to July 2025 in Zagreb, Croatia, as part of the uBlueTec project.
Twenty-two master’s students explored the principles of navigation, guidance, and control of autonomous marine vessels, building on foundational knowledge of acoustic communication, sensors, and mathematical modeling.
The training combined 30 hours of theoretical lectures with 15 hours of laboratory exercises, where participants operated marine robots in a controlled pool environment at the Laboratory for Underwater Systems and Technologies.
By integrating hands-on practice with advanced robotics concepts, this pilot strengthened technical expertise essential for applications in marine research, conservation, and blue economy sectors.
